This week, Frederick gained an incredible new resource for local youth: the brand-new Rowan Tech Lab at the Boys & Girls Club of Frederick. The lab officially opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony filled with excitement, community partners, and—most importantly—kids eager to explore, learn, and create.
The Rowan Tech Lab is designed to give students access to modern technology, hands-on learning, and opportunities that inspire future careers in STEM. With new computers, creative software, and a dedicated space for learning, this lab represents a huge investment in the next generation of innovators right here in Frederick.

At 1-UP IT Consulting, we were honored to play a part in making this vision a reality. Our team installed the computers and ensured the entire lab was fully connected, secure, and ready for students on day one.
